Non-alcoholic Pimms-like drink for kids
Do you, like me, enjoy a little tipple of Pimms when the sun comes out?
Whilst the sun was shining this weekend, I decided I fancied a nice, refreshing pimms and lemonade with fruit, so I popped over to the shop to get the ingredients. Then it struck me that I ought to make something for the children too.
So I figured we could easily make a non-alcoholic Pimms-like drink for them!
Simply put, we made a jug of strawberry lemonade topped with chopped strawberries and cucumber.
Ingredients:
10 Strawberries
1 ltr lemonade
1/8 Cucumber (diced)
2 more strawberries (diced)
How to:
Put your 10 strawberries into a blend and puree them.
Using a strainer push the pureed strawberries into a container or jug – thus keeping the seeds out.
Slowly pour in the lemonade and stir gently.
Pop the diced strawberries and cucumber into the top and you are ready to serve, over ice.
We cheated, but of course it is easy enough to make your own lemonade – we made some raspberry lemonade last year and you can get the recipe here!

- 10 strawberries
- 1 ltr lemonade
- 2 strawberries diced
- 1/8 cucumber diced
- Puree the 10 strawberries.
- Strain into a bowl or jug.
- Add 1 ltr lemonade slowly and stir gently.
- Top with the chopped cucumber and strawberry.
- Serve over ice.
