What will 2015 be bringing for 101thingstodowithkids?

So we are now nearly 2 weeks into 2015 and we are back into our normal routine – school runs, work, trying to fit housework in around it (and generally failing), after-school activities and so on.

I long for the weekend, when I can have a lie-in and don’t have to rush around like a headless chicken in the mornings to get everyone ready and out of the door with everything they should have!

So now I think is a good time to step back and take a minute to consider what 2015 will be for 101thingstodowithkids.

What will we be doing to blog about?

This year I am intending to be a bit more organised with the blog. I have already planned the first few months  – I downloaded a gorgeous blog planner from Homeschool Creations to help me get organised 🙂

Of course, there will be the odd post, like this one(!) that comes along in between all those I have planned – when we have done something fun that we hadn’t got scheduled in, or when a random thought grabs me – but at least I will roughly know where we are up to and what needs doing!

We will have lots of fun as a family this year! – We are already lucky enough to have 3 holidays booked, at Easter and in the Summer. Amongst them, I am particularly looking forward to returning to my beloved Crete for another family summer holiday in July 🙂

There will be birthdays and parties galore – at the end of this month we have a run of 4 weekends that will be taken up with friends and families birthday parties!

There will be cheap days out, seeing the great outdoors – using our National Trust membership and some slightly more expensive days out (hopefully!) – we definitely want to do some theme parks this year – Drayton Manor, maybe Alton Towers and LEGOLAND too!

There will be days spent at home – making things, learning about new things and baking new recipes as well as old favorites.

Other stuff

Oh yes, 2015 is almost certainly going to be an exciting year for our little blog.

I am contemplating going self-hosted – wordpress.com is fab for beginners (which I still class myself to be!) but there are a number of things that WordPress.com do not allow you to do.

This is massive for me – although the idea is that as readers you won’t even know anything has changed!

I am going to be co-hosting a linky every Friday. It is called We Love Weekends and you can link up your favourite posts each week – either on my blog or on these other blogs :

Peakle Pie,

Witty Hoots,

Best Toys 4 Toddlers,

& Raising Wild Ones

And I am sure there are going to be plenty of other exciting things going on this year too, of which I will update you as and when!.

Yay for 2015!
